General purpose paint stripper suitable for stripping most types of paint from timber and metal surfaces.

Specifications:

Clean Up : Clean all equipment using MIROSOL 1228 or 1231. Metal surfaces may be hosed down with a high pressure water jet wash.

Application:

Apply a thick film by brush. Allow to stand for 3 to 5 minutes (most paints will bubbles and wrinkle). Remove with a wide metal scraper.

MIROSTRIP may be left longer (10-30 minutes) for more difficult to remove paints. Sanding the surface prior to application of MIROSTRIP 1019 with 180 grit sandpaper can help the stripper to penetrate the coating.

Ensure that all MIROSTRIP 1019 is thoroughly removed before coatings (sand with 180-240 grit sandpaper to remove residue).

Where To Use:

Removes most type of paint; nitrocellulose, precatalysed lacquers, alkyd paints, acid catalysed and polyurethane coatings.
