A high build, white polyester undercoat for MDF and particleboard. It is easy to sand and is designed to be top coated with MIROTHANE PU polyurethane topcoats.
Features:
  • Easy to sand, will powder easily ensuring quick sanding

  • Excellent build, it will enhance the finished appearance of the topcoat by filling and covering the fibres of the substrate

Application: Mixing Ratio : Mix by volume, 1 Litre 5130 Part A + 20ml 5202 Accelerator + 10ml Peroxide (MEKP Catalyst) (100:2:1) Always mix 5202 Accelerator into the 5130 Part A base before adding the peroxide (MEKP Catalyst). Mixing the Accelerator and the Peroxide Hardener together may cause an explosion or fire. Pot Life : Approximately 45 minutes at 25°C. Pot life varies significantly with ambient temperature and the quantity mixed. Pot life is longer at lower temperatures and shorter at higher temperatures. The larger the quantity mixed, the shorter the pot life will be. Only mix the quantity required for the job. Refer to the MIROPOL PE Polyester Product Information Guide for mixing ratios to extend pot life. Thinning : Up to 30% with MIROSOL 1208, 1234 or 1224 Thinner. Suction Gun - Use 1.5 to 2mm (59-79 thou) orifice with 350-400kpa (50-55 psi). Pressure Pot - Use 1.5 to 2mm (59-79 thou) orifice with pressure pot air-cap. Gun pressure 350-400kpa (50-55 psi) and a pot pressure of 45kpa (6 psi) max. Airless Spray - Use 0.23 to 0.33mm (9-13 thou) orifice, 15cm fan (dependent on job) with regulated pump pressure of 350-400kpa (50-55 psi). Air Mix Guns - Settings similar to airless spray with the air-assisted regulator pressure at 70-90kpa (10-15psi). Where To Use: Interior use only. Interior doors, kitchen & bathroom cabinets, commercial joinery and wall panelling and domestic furniture

A high build, isocyanate free, two pack polyester, clear coating. MIROPOL 5007 Clear has a very hard, high gloss clear topcoat finish to provide a “glass like” appearance.
