Application: Mixing Ratio (by volume) : Mix 1 part by volume MIROPOL 5007 Clear Topcoat to 1 part by volume MIROPOL 5007 "B" Solution and stir thoroughly. Pot Life : 2-3 hours (mix only samll quantities at any one time). Thinning : Not required as MIROPOL 5007 Clear us supplied ready for ysue (RFU). If required use MIROSOL 1234 Ultra Fast Thinner sparingly. Suction Gun - Use 1.5 to 2mm (59-79 thou) orifice with 350-400kpa (50-55 psi). Pot Life : Up to 10 hours Pot life varies significantly with ambient temperature, humidity and the quantity mixed. Pot life is longer at lower temperatures and shorter at higher temperatures. The larger the quantity mixed, the shorter the pot life will be. Only mix the quantity required for the job. Thinning : 25-40% with MIROSOL 1266 (fast), 1260 (Medium), 1218 (Slow) thinner. Application: Mixing Ratio (by volume) : Best adhesion, best gloss hold up and faster cure at low temperatures e.g. below 20°C: 10 Parts MIROBILD AC 3622 Part A + 1 Part MIROBILD AC 3800 Universal Catalyst or MIROBILD AC 3810 Quick Dry Catalyst by volume. For extended pot life, especially at high temperatures e.g. above 30°C 20 Parts MIROBILD AC 3622 Part A + 1 Part MIROBILD AC 3800 Universal Catalyst or MIROBILD AC 3810 Quick Dry Catalyst by volume. Mix A & B and then add thinner. Allow mixed product to stand for 15 minutes prior to thinning, this will ensure that maximum film hardness and clarity is obtained. Failure to allow time for reaction to take place may result in a hazy film. Pot Life : 1-2 days at 25°C Pot life varies significantly with ambient temperature, humdity and the quantity mixed. Pot life is longer at lower temperatures and shorter at higher temperatures. Thinning : Thin 10-15% with MIROSOL 1220 (Fast), 1294 (Medium), 1242 (Slow) In hot or draughty conditions up to 10% MIROSOL 1218 Ultra Slow Thinner may be added. Do not exceed 10% addition as it will retard the drying and could lead to problems with sanding, printing and blocking. Use faster thinners to achieve the required viscosity and then use (only if required) a small amount of MIROSOL 1218 to improve flow and levelling. In damp, cool or high humidity conditions, up to 10% MIROSOL 1297 Retarder may be added to help prevent blushing (a milkiness or haze in the film). Heating the application environment e.g. warming with infra-red lamps and avoid spraying early in the morning and late evening when temperatures are at their coldest, will also help to reduce the risk. Suction Gun - Use 1.5 to 2mm (59-79 thou) orifice with 350-400kpa (50-55 psi). Pressure Pot - Use 1.5 to 2mm (59-79 thou) orifice with pressure pot air-cap. In damp, cool or high humidity conditions, up to 10% MIROSOL 1297 Retarder may be added to help prevent blushing (a milkiness or haze in the film). Heating the application environment e.g. warming with infra-red lamps and avoid spraying early in the morning and late evening when temperatures are at their coldest, will also help to reduce the risk.

Thinning : MIROSTAIN 2616 is supplied ready for use (RFU). However to achieve lighter tones reduce with MIROSOL 1222 (Fast), MIROSOL 1231 (Medium), 1242 (Slow) thinners or 1218, 1228, 1233 (Ultra Slow) thinners. MIROSTAIN 2616 must be unreduced when adding to MIROCAT PC, MIROBILD AC or MIROTHANE PU.
Toning : required, to provide extra depth of colour, add up to 10% by volume of unreduced MIROSTAIN 2616 to MIROCAT PC or MIROBILD AC coatings. Apply in light even coats over sealed timber to obtain depth of colour.
Pad or Rag - Use a clean lint free cloth, apply in even strokes.
Suction Gun - Use 1.5mm (59 thou) orifice with 280kpa (35 psi). It is important not to apply MIROSTAIN above this pressure to avoid dark or blotchy discolouration.

General purpose paint stripper suitable for stripping most types of paint from timber and metal surfaces.

Clean Up : Clean all equipment using MIROSOL 1228 or 1231. Metal surfaces may be hosed down with a high pressure water jet wash.
Application:
Apply a thick film by brush. Allow to stand for 3 to 5 minutes (most paints will bubbles and wrinkle). Remove with a wide metal scraper.
MIROSTRIP may be left longer (10-30 minutes) for more difficult to remove paints. Sanding the surface prior to application of MIROSTRIP 1019 with 180 grit sandpaper can help the stripper to penetrate the coating.
Ensure that all MIROSTRIP 1019 is thoroughly removed before coatings (sand with 180-240 grit sandpaper to remove residue).
